A Perfect Fall Day at Southern Hill Farms Fall Festival in Clermont, FL
We recently got a weekend free of the kids sports, due to Hurricane Milton. Thankfully our family didn’t see any damage or power outages. We wanted to do something fall fun and support local so we headed to Southern Hill Farms.
If your a Florida transplant, the fall weather isn’t like up North. Still pretty hot!

For a more interactive experience, kids will love the “U-Pick” sunflower and zinnia fields—perfect for snapping a few Instagram-worthy photos.

- Hayrides that provide a relaxing tour around the farm
- Petting zoo with adorable animals for kids to enjoy
- Bounce houses, slides, and other games and rides in the Kids Zone
- Most rides were about 42in to ride or if the child was shorter an adult must accompany. They had rides for all ages of kids, my 3,6,9 year old all found something to ride!
- All is included in the admission fee except the Trampoline Bungee which cost $5
Keep in mind it is a cashless venue, so make sure you have your cards on you.

A visit to Southern Hill Farms wouldn’t be complete without tasting some of the local seasonal goodies. The farm offers fresh apple cider donuts, kettle corn, and a variety of locally grown produce, including blueberries (depending on the season). For adults, be sure to try the craft beer or hard cider, which pairs perfectly with the festival atmosphere.
We grabbed some frozen blueberry lemonade and frozen apple cider which was delicious.
If you’re looking for more substantial fare, the farm also hosts a variety of food trucks offering everything from barbecue to vegetarian options, ensuring there’s something for everyone.

Tickets must be purchased ahead of time online, they tend to sell out on the weekends so be sure to get the tickets ahead of time.
